Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work


Experience: Experience an asset


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Community health clinic or centre, Home care or visiting care agency


Area of Specialization: Pediatrics, Palliative care


Registered Nursing Assistant Specific Skills: Monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy


Additional Skills: Monitor patients' progress and report any changes


Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check, Child welfare check, Driver's validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract)


Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation


Essential Skills: Critical thinking
