Terms of Employment: Casual, Part Time, On Call, Shift, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening

Salary: $30.80 to $41.24 Hourly for 30 hours per week, As per collective agreement

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Medicine Hat, Alberta (2 vacancies ) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse by the province of work, Critical care registered nurse (CCRN), CPR certification


Experience: Experience an asset


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Nursing or convalescent home


Area of Specialization: General duty, Home care


Specific Skills: Collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care, Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, Provide nursing care, Plan, develop, implement, monitor and evaluate health education services, Participate in community needs assessment and program development, Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff


Essential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Continuous learning
